Configuring local repository connections

The New Repository Connection wizard allows you configure local repository connections 
between FreeFlow and document repositories that reside on the same local Document 
Management System (DMS) system.

To configure a local connection between FreeFlow and a document repository residing on the 
same local computer:

1.

Open FreeFlow Administration Tool.

2.

Highlight the [Repository] icon.

3.

Select the [Connect to the following repositories] radio button.

4.

Select [Add].

5.

From the drop-down, select the type of repository you want to connect to.

Note

If you select Xerox DocuShare or WebDAV Enabled Repository, the Local computer option 
is greyed out. DocuShare and Documentum are a remote only connections.

6.

Select [Local computer] to specify that the repository is located in the local computer.

7.

Select [Next].

8.

In the Address text box, enter the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) for the repository.

Note

The URI syntax includes the http setting, the computer address, the port number, and the 
directory location.

9.

Select [Next].
