Installing the Appliance PRIME-NCS-APL-K9 Software Upgrade
Note: As explained in the Cisco Security Advisory for Prime Infrastructure, you need to upgrade your

Downloading the Fix
If you are running Prime Infrastructure versions 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, or 2.0, go to

your Prime Infrastructure version, and download PI-CSCum71308-0.tar.gz.
Install the patch by using the command: application install PI-CSCum71308-0.tar.gz <Repository

Additional Information About the Repository
You must have a defined repository on the Prime Infrastructure appliance, on which you
downloaded the patch file. The repository can be on the local Prime Infrastructure server, for
example, defaultRepo, or on a remote server.

Obtaining a Media Kit/DVD:
To order replacement software DVDs for the physical appliance PRIME-NCS-APL-K9 (instead of
downloading the software via Cisco.com), you can order PID ‘PI12-MEDIA-K9’ (for Prime
Infrastructure 1.3) or PID ‘PI20-MEDIA-K9=’ (for Prime Infrastructure 2.0) via your normal fulfilment
channel or the Cisco Ordering Tool.
