BGP Selective Address Tracking
The BGP Selective Address Tracking feature introduces the use of a route map for next-hop route
filtering and fast session deactivation. Selective next-hop filtering uses a route map to selectively define
routes to help resolve the BGP next hop. A route map can be used to determine if a peering session with
a BGP neighbor should be reset when a route to the BGP peer changes.
