The Setup Menu

Switch the camera clock instantly from your home time zone to the local time at your destination when traveling.  To specify the 
diff erence between local time and your home time zone:

 

 Highlight 

g LOCAL and press MENU/OK.

 

 Use the selector to choose the time diff erence between local time and your home time zone.  Press MENU/OK when settings 

are complete.

To set the camera clock to local time, highlight 

g LOCAL and press MENU/OK.  To set the clock to the time in your home time 

zone, select 

h HOME.  If g LOCAL is selected, g will be displayed for three seconds when the camera is turned on.

Choose a language.

Edit “my menu” (

P 118).

  SENSOR CLEANING

Remove dust from the camera image sensor.
•  OK: Clean sensor immediately (

P xi).

•  WHEN SWITCHED ON: If this option is selected, sensor cleaning will be performed when the camera turns on.
•  WHEN SWITCHED OFF: If this option is selected, sensor cleaning will be performed when the camera turns off  (sensor cleaning is 

not however performed if the camera turns off  in playback mode).

 

R Dust that can not be removed using sensor cleaning can be removed manually (

  RESET

Reset shooting or setup menu options to default values.  Custom white balance, custom settings banks created using EDIT/
SAVE CUSTOM SETTING, WIRELESS SETTINGS, and the setup menu DATE/TIME, TIME DIFFERENCE options are not aff ected.

 

 Highlight the desired option and press the selector right.

 

 A confi rmation dialog will be displayed; highlight OK and press MENU/OK.
