Cisco is happy to help customers understand the specifications needed to source the button cell batteries. These
are standard battery types that are commercially available from local sources. This will help avoid lengthy delivery
delays for our customers that would otherwise be imposed.
We are working to determine the long-term support plans for rechargeable (lithium ion) batteries and will
communicate any revision to our current practices. We do apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to mitigate the overall impact on our customers in complying with
the new regulations.
