6. Click Apply. The replication teardown may take a few minutes to complete. 
After a successful shut-down, a dialog box appears that prompts to restart all 
the services on the secondary node.
7. Click OK.
8. Restart all the CAD services on the secondary node manually using Windows 
Services. Replication is now shut down.
CAD 7.1 and Older
If you are shutting down replication because you are upgrading from a previous 
version of CAD, you must also complete the following procedure.
To shut down replication in CAD 7.1 and older:
1. Log in to the secondary server as a local administrator.
2. In a command window, navigate to C:\Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\bin. This 
is the default location for CAD utilities.
3. Run the following command, where <IP address> is the IP address of the 
secondary server.
ldaputil /C <IP address>
4. Log in to the primary server. If the server is down, restart it.
5. In a command window, navigate to C:\Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\bin.
6. Run the following command, where <IP address> is the IP address of the 
primary server. Replication is now shut down.
ldaputil /C <IP address>
Restarting Replication 
To restart replication:
1. Log into either the primary or the secondary server as a local administrator.
2. In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\bin. This is 
the default location for CAD utilities.
3. Run PostInstall.exe to start the CAD Configuration Setup utility.
