The Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Traffic Engineering (TE)—Resource Reservation Protocol
(RSVP) Graceful Restart feature allows a neighboring route processor (RP) to recover from disruption
in control plane service (specifically, the Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) component) without losing
its MPLS forwarding state.
