Using the CLI to Configure the Local Authentication Bind Method
Use these commands to configure this feature using the controller CLI.

FTP Support for Uploads and Downloads
Both File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) are now supported for
uploading and downloading files to and from the controller. In previous software releases, only TFTP is
supported.

On the controller GUI, you can choose FTP or TFTP from the Transfer Mode drop-down box on the
Download File to Controller or Upload File from Controller page.

Multicast Enhancements
These multicast enhancements have been made in controller software 4.2.112.0:

Multicast is now supported for use with the 2000 series controllers, 2100 series controllers, and the
Cisco Wireless LAN Controller Network Module for Cisco Integrated Services Routers. The
previous performance limitations have been improved (CSCsd64081).

The controller prioritizes ARP broadcast and multicast traffic types to avoid impacting access point
communications (CSCsk44641). Access points can now survive in networks with a high rate of
background broadcasts without affecting connectivity.
