Cisco Adaptive wIPS Introduction
Disabling Controller-Based IDS
If Adaptive wIPS is enabled in the system, then IDS is disabled automatically. So, if the user needs to
enable IDS, then the WIPS submode needs to be disabled.
enable IDS, then the WIPS submode needs to be disabled.
To disable controller-based IDS:
Step 1
Login to the controller(s).
Step 2
Click on the Security tab from the top-level controller menu.
Step 3
On the left hand-side, click Wireless Protection Policies > Standard Signatures.
Step 4
Uncheck the standard signatures check box as shown in the below screenshot.
