announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for Cisco
®
4100 Series wireless LAN controllers. The last day
to order the affected products is March 30, 2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support
from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until March 30, 2011.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected products. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this
announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco 4400 Series wireless LAN controllers, which are the next generation of wireless LAN controllers.
Customers should strongly consider Cisco 4400 Series wireless LAN controllers for any open orders or new orders for Cisco 4100 Series wireless
LAN controllers. Table 3 provides relevant information for migrating to the replacement products. Information about the replacement products can
