Cisco Cisco Packet Data Gateway (PDG)

Specifies number of retransmission of keepalives to remote node without getting any response before the
remote node is marked as dead/down.

retry must be an integer between 0 through 10.

Use this command to configure the parameters for sending Keepalives to the remote end-point of GRE tunnel.
It also configures the interval at which GRE Keepalives are sent on the interface and number of retries without
getting a response from the remote end-point before the tunnel is shutdown. By default, Keepalives will not
be sent.

The following command enables the keepalive and sets the other parameters to defaults:
