Chapter 7 Database Management
Changing Database Location
The values for the above parameters are recorded in a file called <BPR_HOME>/ bpr_definitions.sh.
Any change to this file requires that you restart all BAC components running on the system.

To change the location of the database and transaction logs:
Step 1
Run the /etc/init.d/bprAgent stop command to stop the BAC agent.
Step 2
Make a backup copy of <BPR_HOME>/bpr_definitions.sh file.
Step 3
Edit the file and change BPR_DATA and/or BPR_DBLOG parameters to new directories.
Step 4
Save the file.
Step 5
Copy or move the directory structure and contents of the original BPR_DATA and/or BPR_DBLOG
directories to new location(s). If you perform a copy, make sure that all file and directory permissions
are preserved.

Step 6
Run the /etc/init.d/bprAgent start command to start the BAC agent and all BAC components.
Step 7
Monitor the appropriate log files to ensure that all components have successfully started.
