Check Installed Version Numbers on the
Application Server
Before you eject the DVD from the Application Server, confirm that the installed
software versions match the requirements for SR i4.2.2.
1 If necessary, insert the SR 4.4 DVD into the DVD drive of the Application Server.
2 From a root xterm window on the Application Server, type one of the following
software versions match the requirements for SR i4.2.2.
1 If necessary, insert the SR 4.4 DVD into the DVD drive of the Application Server.
2 From a root xterm window on the Application Server, type one of the following
commands:
If your Application Server has an internal DVD drive, type
/cdrom/cdrom0/s3/sai/scripts/utils/listpkgs -i and then press Enter.
/cdrom/cdrom0/s3/sai/scripts/utils/listpkgs -i and then press Enter.
If your Application Server has an external DVD drive, type
/cdrom/cdrom1/s3/sai/scripts/utils/listpkgs -i and then press Enter.
/cdrom/cdrom1/s3/sai/scripts/utils/listpkgs -i and then press Enter.
Note: It may take a few minutes for this command to run.
Result: The system displays a listing of installed packages.

3 Record the version number in the Actual Results column of the accompanying
table for each package name (Pkg Name) listed.
