g  Type the following  command and press Enter to determine  if the  processes 

have stopped. The processes are stopped when there are no processes listed 
in the output.  

h  From the root xterm window, type the following command and press Enter 

to disable cron jobs.  

3  Close all GUIs and WUIs.
