Set SARA Server Environment Variables
This section describes how to add entries to the .profile file of the dncs user. These
entries reduce the rate of cancel packets generated due to an IPG update in the
SARA Server.

Use this procedure only if your IPG collector is scheduled to run before midnight.

1 Open an xterm window on the SARA Server.
2 Type appStop and then press Enter to stop the SARA Server processes.

4 Type cd /export/home/dncs and press Enter.

xterm window open, and go to step 12.
