Parameter
Description
ServerSip Timeout
The ServerSipTimeout indicates the timeout period for
server session-in-progress messages. If the application
software does not receive a session-in-progress message
from the server device within the timeout value, the
session and associated resources are released.
The default value is 10 minutes.
Configuring the value to 0 causes the application
software to not require server session-in-progress
messages to maintain the session.
Transaction Timeout
The TransactionTimeout indicates the timeout value for
session processing. If the service setup transaction does
not complete within the configured time, the service
request is terminated, and the request is denied to the
requesting device.
Session Timeout
The SessionTimeout specifies the maximum duration of a
session (i.e., how long the session stays active) after it has
been set up by the application.
MpegProgramLow
The MpegProgramLow selects the low limit of program
numbers used by the application. Program numbers are
assigned from a range.
MpegProgramHigh
The MpegProgramHigh selects the high limit of program
numbers used by the application.
UseClientCA
This setting selects whether to accept the capabilities
information in the client request or to determine the
client CA type using internal business rule logic. The
“Yes” state causes the software to accept the CA
capability information and select an encryption type
using this data. The "No" state does not use CA capability
information from the STB in determining the CA type.
ReleaseRetryCount
This setting configures the number of retries on release
requests. This setting applies for a distributed edge
resource manager configuration where one USRM
manages the edge resources and another USRM hosts the
VOD session manager application.
VodLogType
This setting configures the activity logging type. The sole
supported log type is MSA. MSA is a standard VOD log
format defined by Time Warner Cable.
VodLogStatus
This parameter indicates the status of logging.
VodLogRecords
This parameter indicates the number of records
generated in the current file.
MaxVodLogFileSize
This parameter indicates the maximum size of the log file
in megabytes.
