Installing the SAI Tools Patch
Overview
Introduction
Beginning in the spring of 2007, U.S. Daylight Saving Time (DST) starts the second
Sunday in March (March 11, 2007) and ends the first Sunday in November
(November 4, 2007) in response to the decision by the U.S. Congress to extend DST
by 4 weeks.

the Digital Network Control System (DNCS) for DST implementation.

while within a maintenance window. The entire procedure to stop the system
components, install the patch, and then restart the system components, takes
between 15 to 30 minutes to complete.
