Installing Service Pack 1 for Cisco StadiumVision Director

Before installing SP1, be sure that you have read the information in the “
” section of this document.
To install SP1 for Cisco StadiumVision Director Release 2.3, perform the following steps:
1. Download either the 32-bit or the 64-bit SP1 files from Cisco.com and upload them to your
Cisco StadiumVision Director server.

2. Create a directory on the Cisco StadiumVision Director server for the SP1 files:
mkdir ~/SP1
cd ~/SP1
cd ~/SP1
3. Copy the SP1 image and MD5 checksum files to this directory.
4. Open an SSH session to your Cisco StadiumVision Director server, using the “snetac” temporary
account.

5. Verify the integrity of the zip file by calculating the MD5 checksum on the SP1 image package,
and compare that value to the value in the MD5 checksum file using the following commands.

cat SV-DIRECTOR-SP1-2.3.0-78.i386.zip.md5sum
cat SV-DIRECTOR-SP1-2.3.0-78.i386.zip.md5sum
6. Unzip the SP1 file:
unzip SV-DIRECTOR-SP1-2.3.0-78.i386.zip
7. Make the SP1 shell script executable:
chmod +x SV-DIRECTOR-SP1-2.3.0-78.i386.sh
8. Execute the script:
./SV-DIRECTOR-SP1-2.3.0-78.i386.sh
