Installing Trim Networks

The LEI has a midstage card-type receptacle where a jumper, trim network, or 

thermal can reside.  Follow the procedure to install a trim network in an LEI 

module. 

1. 

Open the LEI housing. 

2. 

Open the LEI module cover. 

3. 

Record the RF output levels. 

4. 

Remove the thermal or jumper. 
Note:  This location is labeled INTERSTAGE NETWORK. 

 

5. 

Ensure the pins are clean on the trim network.
