Glossary

Aspect ratio—A way to describe the rectangular proportions of the video frame. The traditional television aspect ratio of
4X3 or 4:3 means that the video frame is 4 units wide and 3 units high, such as 400 pixels wide and 300 pixels high. Aspect
ratios such as 16X9 are commonly called wide format or HD format.

Bitrate—The number of bits transmitted per second by the video server, such as 1.5MB/sec., or 1.5 megabits per second. It

SNS—Cisco Show and Share is a video portal that allows upload, search, and playback of video programs. To allow upload
