The illustration below shows sub-menu 2 of the OptoStar II optical switch module 
- Channel Control. 

 

Factory default sets switching mode to Auto and channel A is set as the main 
channel for optical input. By default, the cursor is set on the Auto option and the 
module is set to work in auto switching mode. Press ▲▼ button to select auto or 
manual switching mode. 

• 

To select auto switching mode: 

1.  Press ▲▼ button to keep the  symbol on “Auto” option;   
2.  Press ► button to move the cursor to “Set”; 
3.  Press SET button to save the configuration. 

• 

To select manual switching mode: 

1.  Press ▲▼ button to keep the  symbol on “Manual” option;   
2.  Press ► button to move the cursor to ”Set”; 
3.  Press SET button to start the configuration; 

To switch between channel A and B manually, “Manual” must be selected in the 
Mode Selection screen, otherwise channel switching will be unavailable in auto 
switching mode.   

1.  Press ▲▼ button to keep the  symbol on Channel A or Channel B option;   
2.  Press ► button to move the cursor to “Set”; 
3.  Press SET button to save the configuration.
