Language

The Galaxy Gear gets its language setting directly from the 
paired/connected smartphone. This field displays the 
currently used language.

  From the Home (Clock) screen, scroll to and then tap 

 (Apps) 

➔ Settings ➔ Language.

1. Access your smartphone’s Language menu.

2. Select a new language and apply the change. In a few 

seconds, your Galaxy Gear user interface should now 

reflect the new language.

Reset Gear

From this menu you can reset your device and sound settings 
to the factory default settings.

1. From the Home (Clock) screen, scroll to and then tap 

 (Apps) 

➔ Settings ➔ Reset Gear. 

2. Read the on-screen reset information.

3. Tap

 Reset.

Gear Info

This menu contains information about the Galaxy Gear and a 
programming Debug mode.

1. From the Home (Clock) screen, scroll to and then tap 

 (Apps) 

➔ Settings ➔ Gear Info. 

2. Click About Gear and scroll through the available 

on-screen list:

• Model number: displays the device’s model number.

• Software version: displays the software/firmware version 

loaded on this device.

• Serial number: displays the serial number information.

• Open source licences: displays the information related to the 

open source license and debug info.
