The Search menu allow you to perform a better search, get 
suggestions from Bing, or delete search history. 

1.  From the Home screen, tap 

Settings. Under the 

applications menu, tap search. 

2.   Touch and slide the Use my location slider to the right 

to turn this option On. When activated, this feature 

uses your location to provide better local search 

results. 

3.   Tap the SafeSearch field and select off, moderate, 

or strict. 

4.  Tap Get suggestions from Bing as I type, if desired. 

5.   Tap Allow Microsoft to store and use images from vision 

searches to help Microsoft provide better 

search results. 

6.   Tap delete history ➔ delete to delete all

previously-typed search terms from your phone.  

7.   Tap View my Bing Rewards info to view your Bing 

rewards status. A Microsoft account is required. 

8.  Tap Privacy Statement to view the statement. 

Store provides access to downloadable applications, music, 
and games to install on your phone. Store also allows you to 
provide feedback and comments about an application or flag 
an application that might be incompatible with your phone. 

1.  From the Home screen, tap 

Settings. Under the 

applications menu, tap store. 

2.   Tap PIN to configure your Personal Identification 

Number: 

• Touch and slide the Wallet PIN slider to the right to 

turn this option On. 

• Tap Use Wallet PIN to protect music, app, and in­

app purchases to turn this option On. 

• Tap Learn more about Wallet for more information. 

• Tap change PIN to enter a new PIN number. 

3.   Tap suggestions to get ideas for apps, games, things to 

do, and more. 

4.   Touch and slide the Update apps automatically slider 

right to turn the option On. 

5.  Touch and slide the Only get updates over Wi-Fi slider 

right to turn the option On.
