b. Remove the hinges (2). The hinges are available using spare part number 603656-001.

If it is necessary to replace the display panel cable:

a. Turn the display panel upside down, with the bottom toward you.

b. Release the support strip (1) that secures the display panel cable to the display panel.

Disconnect the display panel cable (2) from the display panel.

d. Detach the display panel cable (3) from the display panel. (The display panel cable is

attached to the display panel with double-sided tape.)

e. Remove the display panel cable. The display panel cable is available using spare part

number 603657-001, and includes the webcam/microphone module cable and

logo light cable.

Steps 13 through 17 apply to computer models equipped with the TouchScreen display

assembly. Refer to steps 8 through 12 for disassembly information for computer models equipped

with traditional display assemblies.
