RECORDING SECTION

(1) Primary charging step

In this step, the surface of the photosensitive drum is charged with a nega-

tive electrical charge by a roller charging system.

(2) Exposure step

In this step, the LASER beam draws the image (area where the charge has

disappeared) on the photosensitive drum.

(3) Developing step

In this step, toner is attached to this invisible image on the photosensitive

drum to change it to a visible image.
