numeric button(s) (see page 19).

jack, adjust the recording level (see
“Adjusting the recording level” on page 17)
if necessary.

Using the HDD display
You can check information about the HDD
using the display while recording.
To display time information while
recording
Press TIME repeatedly.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes as follows:
Track number and elapsed time of the
current track 
t Percentage of the HDD area
used as the total recorded time
Notes
• The total recorded time is first displayed as a
percentage.  When the remaining recordable time
reaches “999. 59” (999 minutes and 59 seconds),
the display changes to a time display.
• The percentage of the HDD area used will never be
0% even when no tracks have been recorded to the
HDD.
Tip
“Analog In” appears in the display when you record
through the ANALOG IN jack, and “Optical In”
appears when you record through the DIGITAL
OPTICAL IN connector.
