Correction of the Firmware via DPMS (Denon Product Management 

Server). 

Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.   

 

 

 1) Setting of Repeat mode and Random mode are not memorized 

after upgrade the unit. 
2) Dynamic EQ and parameter button not available after calibration via V.AUX L  

 
Solution:  

MODIFICATION:  Denon new networking feature with DPMS 

(Denon Product Management Server) allows us to provide advanced service to 
the customers and create new business opportunities through our new specific 
A/V products. 
 
METHOD OF UPDATE via DPMS 

Read me first!

 When you already updated the firmware of the unit via "DPMS", it 

is not necessary to initialize the customer’s unit again. At this time, please skip 
item "7-1 Preparation of the update ". 
 
Preparation of the update.  
We didn’t show this preparation Instruction on Instruction Manual. Please explain 
additional this Instruction to the customers when updating the firmware.   

 
Caution

: It is necessary to initialize the unit before the update work begins.  The 

customer has to initialize their A/V product.  Please update the firmware after you 
confirm this matter to the customer beforehand. 
 
1) Turn off the "Power switch" of unit.  
2) Open the door on the front panel.
