Subject:
Countermeasure for the malfunction that occurs using the Denon
link connection.

Symptom:
 1) During the "3rd Edition of DENON Link" connection, if the
STATUS button was pressed during the playback of a SACD at DIRECT or
PURE DIRECT Modes, "DOWNSAMPLE 88.2kHz" is indicated on the FL
Display.
• The units are operating properly. (The playback signal was processed in the
DSD.)  Also, the indication of the OSD is working properly.
2) The malfunction happens to the AVR-5805 when the CH1, CH2 or CH3
buttons on the RC-1015 remote control to be attached to the TU-1800DAB was
pressed.
• Although the power of the AVR-5805 switches ON and OFF, the both models
are operating properly when other remote controls are used except the RC-1013.
3) When signal in PCM176.4kHz or PCM192kHz is inputted from the COAXIAL
or OPTICAL input, the sound is not outputted after selecting the Dolby
Headphones mode.
• The models are operating properly when using the DENON Link and IEEE1394
inputs.

Solution:
Corrected the software.

MODIFICATION: (Only upon Claim) Please rewrite the firmware on the unit (refer
to the attached rewriting procedures.) Please confirm the firmware version after
upgrading.

• The program file name for the countermeasure:
FWCV_AVR5805_V0002_SETUP.exe
