The face plate automatically closes after a warning alarm
sounds if no operation is performed for approximately
20 seconds.

When a disc is already loaded, the disc will be ejected
after the face plate fully opens.

Press [u] (OPEN).

Press and hold [u] (TILT) until you hear a beep (approxi-
mately 1 second) from the speaker output, then release it. 
Set the face plate to the position at which it is easy to read
what is on the display. Each time the above operation is
repeated, the face plate angle changes in the sequence
shown below.

Note:

The positions specified at “Face Plate Angle (Tilt)” are
memorized even after the following operations.
