Troubleshooting

If a problem occurs, check the following:

Drive is not recognized by
computer, or does not
function properly.

Check that the AC adaptor is connected correctly.

BAC adaptor auto protect function may be working.

Disconnect AC adaptor and connect it again after
few minutes.

Check that the computer is set up.

BInstall USB Driver and UDF Reader.
BIf you use an interface card, use the latest driver.

Check that the USB cable is connected correctly.

BMake sure USB cable is connected correctly.

Check that the USB cable was disconnected
correctly.

BIf you did not follow the procedure for connecting

/ disconnecting USB cable as explained in this
manual, the drive icon may not be visible.
Restart the computer.

Check whether or not interface cable pins are bent
or broken.

BIf they are bent or broken, contact

a service center.

Check that the Power Switch is ON.

BIf the Power Switch is OFF, turn it ON, then

restart the computer.
