Connect the digital video
device (DV Interface Card)
Connect the digital video device and the PC using
the DV cable (4-6 pin). For further information about
the connection, read the paragraph Connection.

Connect the 6-pin side of the DV cable supplied
to the DV Interface Card, then connect the 4-pin
side to the digital video device

video equipment and start the PC.

Remove the card
To remove the card follow the procedure described
below.

Quit all the applications and disconnect the DV
cable connected to the card
Disconnect the DV cable holding it on the connector
side.

Double-click on the icon of the PC card at the
right of the task bar, select [Texas Instruments
OHCI Compliant IEEE1394 Host Controller], then
click on the [Stop] button

● After clicking on the [OK] button, you can remove
the card.
● Press the eject button of the PC and remove the
card holding the concave part on the card side.
