You can record videos with sound. The length of the 
video is limited only by the amount of storage available 
on your memory card.

Turn the Mode dial to 

 video. 

Press the 

MENU

 button. You see the Movie Menu.

Move the joystick to r to change the 

Resolution 

setting.

Move the joystick to u or d to select a resolution 
setting, then press the 

OK

 button. Lower resolution 

settings (320 × 240 or 160 × 120) let you take longer 
videos, but they play in a smaller window if you view 
them on your computer.

Move the joystick to d and then to r to change the 

Quality

 setting.

Move the joystick to u or d to select a setting, then 
press the 

OK

 button. 

Press the 

MENU

 button to exit the menu.

To zoom in on your subject, press the   

T

 

(telephoto) button. To zoom out, press the   

W

 

(wide-angle) button. (Once you start recording, you 
can only zoom if you have digital zoom turned on; 
see your Reference Guide for instructions.)
