STOPPING THE ENGINE

• Slide the throttle into the

“STOP” position.

STARTING THE ENGINE

• Remove any built-up debris from

engine.

• Check oil & fuel.
• Prime engine as directed. Note:

A warm engine may not need to
be primed.

• Slide throttle into “FAST”

position.

• Pull engine coil rope. Do not pull

recklessly.

• Adjust throttle to desired engine

RPM. For maximum results,
operate in the full throttle
position.

PREPARING FOR FIRST USE

• Check engine crankcase for oil.

Check with engine dipstick. Do
not overfill. See engine manual
for proper oil level.

• Fill fuel tank with fresh gasoline.

Never fill tank in an enclosed
area!

• Start engine as directed above.
• Stop engine.

BEGIN USING

• Make sure area is clear of all

bystanders.

• Make sure that all guards, belt

guides, and the spark plug wire
are properly attached.

• Adjust handle height. Loosen black

plastic knob on each side of the
control panel. Move handle to
desired height. Retighten black
plastic knobs.

• Start engine, setting desired

engine speed. Note: This
machine is designed to operate at
maximum engine speed.

• Start by shifting the unit into a

low gear. Begin forward
movement by slowly lifting
control bail toward handle. To
stop the unit, release the bail and
move the shift lever into the
neutral position.

BACKING THE UNIT

• Always look behind and down to

avoid obstacles and tripping.

• Shift lever into reverse position

and slowly lift control bail
towards handle. To stop the unit,
release the bail and move the
shift lever into neutral.

SUGGESTED PRACTICES

• Do not operate cart if it vibrates

abnormally.  Excessive vibration
is a sign of damage.  Stop the
engine and safely check for
damage.  Repair as necessary.

• Do not operate the cart with the

dump bed in the up (dump)
position.

CAUTION!
SHUT OFF ENGINE AND REMOVE
WIRE FROM SPARK PLUG BEFORE
MAKING ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO
THE UNIT.

CAUTION!
TO ENSURE SAFE OPERATION, THE
OPERATOR MUST HOLD THE
HANDLEBARS WITH BOTH HANDS.
