TigrNet™ enabled
TigrNet™ software provides a user interface and
enhanced functionality to the patient television. TigrNet™
can be used with a variety of products including TIGR
education on-demand and upgraded services for
subscription billing. TigrNet™ provides access to The
Internet, e-mail, hospital services, patient education,
surveys, television, games and movies. TigrNet™ allows
monitoring from a central location using remote
management software.
XpressIO Port
XpressIO enables two-way communication with external
control devices, includingTigrNet™.

An easy to use and configure isolated interface for pillow
speakers is built right into the TV.

HD content protection not only for PPV hotels, but now also

to, LodgeNet, OnCommand, NxTV, GuesTek, nStreams,

completely new way to offer in room programming
optimized for hotels that traditionally have not been able to
charge for such amenities due to their size or budget.

SmartPower² and ESP
Our second generation power saving technology allows the
backlight intensity to be dynamically adjusted by the system
to reduce the power consumption by up to 60%, saving
substantially on energy costs. In addition, Philips' Energy
Savings Programmability (ESP) allows the set to turn itself
off when not in use to save even more energy when guests
or maids leave televisions on for long periods while the
room is vacant.
