The 

Settings

 menu allows you to customise your

phone and change the settings related to each available
option (sounds, time and date, security, etc.).
Within most menus, press 

R

 

Edit,

 then 

L

Change

 to access a list, which you browse with

Select

 to confirm your choice.

If the menu only features an 

On/Off

 option, simply

press 

R

 

Change

 to toggle.      

To  select  a  ringer  tone  that  will  apply  to 

Any call

Alarm

, 

SMS/MMS

 and 

Cell broadcast

 messages.

Move

 to access the next field.

You will not hear the melody if the volume ringer is off
(see page 6).

To set the ringer volume that will also apply to 

Any

call

, 

Alarm

, 

SMS/MMS

 and 

Cell broadcast

 messages.

Press

 to increase or decrease

the sound. Move

 to save your changes and

alarms, incoming calls and messages.

The  Within sound setting only applies to .mmf
(SMAF) files. If the sound file has been so configured,
the vibra and the keypad LEDs work in synch with the
melody.

To set the key tones

Your phone will ring using the selected
ringer tone.

Off

You phone will not ring. It will only
vibrate if you set the vibra alert on.

Beep

You phone will emit a single beep, then
vibrate if you set the vibra alert on.
