ESETTING TAPE POSITION
PICTURE SEARCH

During playback and recording the elapsed playing time (Hours :
Minutes : Seconds) is shown in the display.The display can be reset
to "00:00:00" by pressing the button C
CLLEEA

CLL)).Whenever a
cassette is inserted the display is automatically reset to
"00:00:00".

reasons.

4 This may happen, for example, when you insert an
incompletely-rewound cassette into the video
recorder and rewind it to the start of the tape.
Since the display is automatically reset to
"00:00:00" when you insert a cassette, the actual
start of the cassette for the set is less than zero -
thus in the negative range. The tape position is
displayed with a minus sign ("-").

If you press H or I twice, this increases the tape
speed. If you press it again the speed is reduced to
normal once more.

During picture search the picture quality is affected.
The sound is switched off.
