7-6 Removing the Pedal Assembly
1.
Remove the four security screws (M6x25), flat and spring washers and
withdraw the pedal assembly from the front of the machine. (

not to strain the wires.)
2.
Disconnect the connector and remove the assembly.
7-7 Replacing the Pedal Potentiometer
1.
Remove the pedal assembly.
(Refer to section 7-6, above.)
2.
Loosen the grub screw and remove the gear.
3.
Replace the potentiometer.
4.
When refitting the potentiometer ensure that the locating lug engages in
the hole in the bracket and that the grub screw in the gear engages on the
flat of the potentiometer shaft.

Note: Ensure that the wires are reconnected to the correct terminals.
5.
After the pedal assembly has been refitted ensure that the game is re-
initialized
