The mounting surface should be free of dirt and oil. Press the suction
cup against the mounting surface and, while maintaining pressure,
turn the twist lock until the arm is secure.

Mounting the unit is easiest if you first engage the bottom back edge in
the cradle (see following photo). After the bottom of the GPS unit is in
the cradle, push down on the front of the unit until it snaps into place.
