GALLERIES
Galleries are specialized textures that you can place along the
course to recreate the great atmosphere of golf on the PGA
TOUR.
NOTE:
NOTE:
Galleries are not displayed in the Course Architect. They
do appear in the game.
You can create Galleries in a similar way to the method used to create
Out of Bounds.
Gallery segments do not have to be touching.
NOTE:
NOTE:
You may want to compare the location of your galleries
and the out of bounds areas. In most cases, you want to put the
galleries beyond the boundaries of the hole.
To create a Gallery, click the radio button next to Gallery in the Hole
Definition tool. Instructions are listed at the bottom of the screen.
To change the segment number, use the arrow buttons in the indicator
box to select a new Gallery segment.
To draw a segment, click in the location of the initial point of the seg-
ment. Drag and click and then drag again as you create the other points
of the segment.
To create a new segment, click NEW.
To delete a segment, click DELETE.
DRIVING RANGE, CHIPPING AREA AND PUTTING
GREEN
You can also define the Driving Range, Chipping Area and Putting Green
for your course in the Hole Definition tool. These areas of a course are used
in the game when you are engaged in Practice mode, so it's worthwhile to
give attention to the definition of your practice areas for purposes of play-
ing your course.
To define one of these course elements, use the Up arrow in the Hole
Number indicator to move pass the 18th hole.
Driving Range (DR) requires a tee box area and a target field.
To define a Driving Range, you need to indicate the starting shot path
and the location of the target areas.
