Changing audio quality/sound field
≥The following sound effects may not be available or have no effect with some sources, or when headphones are used (

≥You may experience a reduction in sound quality when these sound effects are used with some sources. If this occurs, turn the

Cancel (no effect is added).
You can enhance low-frequency sound so that heavy bass 
sound can be heard clearly.

34] to select “ON” or “OFF”.
You can make the sound of the centre speaker seem like it is 
coming from within the TV.

centre channel sound or when Dolby Pro Logic IIx/Dolby Pro 
Logic II or DTS NEO:6 is on.
You can adjust the amount of bass. The unit automatically 
selects the most suitable setting according to the type of 
playback source.

This function automatically makes speaker adjustment to 
enhance the surround sound effect.

surround channel sound or when Dolby Pro Logic IIx/Dolby 
Pro Logic II or DTS NEO:6 is on.
This function is effective only when 5.1ch or 7.1ch speaker 
system is used.
You can enhance the surround effect for low volume 5.1ch or 
7.1ch sound. (Convenient for late night viewing.)
