Your machine is preset to Standard resolution, which is suitable
for most documents. Use Fine or Super Fine for detailed
originals. To temporarily change the Resolution, follow the steps
below.

When you set RESOLUTION = STANDARD :

For normal original(s)
(Factory Default)

When you set RESOLUTION = FINE

:

For detailed original(s)
Ex:  Newspapers

When you set RESOLUTION = S-FINE

:

For finer detailed original(s)

Make sure that the FAX Mode indicator is ON.  If not, press 

 to select the "FAX MODE".
