[Preparations]

•  Siemens star chart
•  POWER switch of camera: ON

[Adjustment conditions]

•  Make a copy of A4 size siemens chart, which is attached to the service manual, in enlarged A3 size or larger.
•  Illumination above the object should be 400 lux ± 10 %.
•  Set the siemens star chart at 145.72 cm ± 3 cm (between Siemens star chart and the surface of camera's 

protection lens front)

 [Adjustment methods]

•  Click on "LENS BACK INSPECTION AND ADJUSTMENT".
•  Click on the "MATCH THE VIEW ANGLE" button, and check by the LCD monitor so that the siemens star 

chart comes in center of the screen.

•  Click on "INSPECT/ADJUST" button.  
   (In case of replacing the main PCB or lens-barrel unit, input the 2 figures on the seal attached to the 

lens-barrel into "a:" and "b:" of FFD ADJUSTMENT, then click on the "WRITE" button.

•   When the inspection result of the lens is displayed, 

select and click "YES" or "NO" on the "WAS 
MEASURED VALUE STANDARD?" screen.

•   By clicking "NO" on the "WAS MEASURED 

VALUE STANDARD?" screen, the adjustment 
starts.

•   Click "OK" when the adjustment is completed.
•   Repeat inspections and adjustments until "YES" 

is clicked on the "WAS MEASURED VALUE 
STANDARD?" screen.

•   Click the "X" close button in the upper-right corner 

on the adjustment result screen.

     Judgement standard: p1, p2: -6  ～ +6
