1)

Make two screws free to move in the arrow direction by Loosening a little two screws secured focus stopper.

2)

Set the lens to the flange back tester.

3)

Set the zoom to WIDE end and the focus to infinity end.

4)

Rotate the knob of flange back tester to achieve good focus and then rotate it to set to “+0.15”.

5)

Set the zoom to TELE end, rotate the focus ring to achieve good focus.

6)

Repeat items 3) to 5) so that the flange back value on TELE end becomes “+0.15mm” against it on WIDE end. At the same time

the “f=70” flange back value should be more than “+0.03mm”.

7)

While holding focus operation ring at TELE end, move two focus stopper screws in the arrow direction and tighten them at the

position the two screws stops lightly.

Note: Be sure to hold a screw tightly not to move on tightening screw.

8)

Confirm the focusing point doesn’t change when turning focus operation ring to infinity end lightly at TELE end.

9)

Tighten up focus stopper screws and apply the adhesive bond (B-10) as shown in the figure.
