The Transmit IF (

X
) connector is a 50 ohm N-type female connector, which is
colour coded red. The signals supplied on this interface are:

Transmit IF (950 and 1450 MHz): the signal to be upconverted, amplified
and transmitted to the satellite. This signal may be either a continuous
wave (CW) or a modulated signal.
