protecting your SIM with a PIN 

Every SIM card comes with a PIN. Your SIM is unlocked when you first get it from 
Orange, but it’s best to lock your SIM as soon as you can: 

1.

  Tap 

/   > Settings > Location & security > Set up SIM/RUIM card lock. 

2.

  Select the Enable/disable SIM PIN check box. 

3.

  Enter the PIN you’ve been given and tap OK. 

changing your SIM PIN 

You can change the PIN you’ve been given to one easier for you to remember and 
harder for others to guess: 

1.

  Tap Home Key > 

/   > Settings > Location & security > Set up SIM/RUIM 

card lock. 

2.

  Tap Change SIM/RUIM PIN. 

3.

  Enter the old PIN and tap OK. 

4.

  Enter your new PIN and tap OK. 

5.

  Enter the new PIN again and tap OK.
