1.3  Switch the Phone on and Connect the Charger 

Press and hold the 

  key for two seconds to switch your phone on. The phone takes about 20 

seconds to initialize. Enter the PIN number supplied by TELEFONICA with your (U)SIM card. The 

start up screen below is referred to throughout the manual as the Idle Screen:
