Quick start guide      1    

.  When your phone asks you to choose a type of USB 

connection, tap 

HTC Sync, and then tap Done.

.  On your computer, wait for HTC Sync to recognize 

your phone. When the Device setup screen opens, 

enter a name for your phone, and then click Save. 

The Device panel then opens.

If your phone displays a message indicating that 

it’s unable to find HTC Sync, try disconnecting and 

reconnecting the USB cable, and then repeat step .

. In 

Overview, click the category you want to sync with 

your phone (such as Music, Calendar, or People).

5.  On the right side of the Device panel, click the 

On 

button to make sure that the category you’ve selected 

is included every time you sync. And then you can 

adjust the sync settings as desired.

. After you’ve finished selecting the categories you 

want to sync and adjusting the sync settings, click 

Sync now at the top right corner of the Device panel 

to start synchronizing your phone.

.  After synchronization is complete, click 

Disconnect 

and safely remove your phone as required by your 

computer’s operating system.

The next time you connect your phone to your computer, 
synchronization automatically begins based on your sync 
settings.
