Web administration console

Administrators only need a browser to centrally and easily manage the

antivirus and firewall protections of all workstations, including those

from remote offices that are not connected to the LAN. No need for

additional infrastructure or maintenance personnel.

Proactive protection against unknown malware

Anti-malware proactive protection for desktops and servers against

known and unknown threats or even hidden threats. It includes

heuristic technologies and protection for files, email, HTTP/FTP

downloads and instant messaging with low resource consumption.

Managed personal firewall

Firewalls can be centrally managed through the Web console or locally

managed from endpoints, depending on your needs. The firewall offers

application and system rules, IPS (Intrusion Prevention System),

prevention of network viruses and zone-based configuration.

In-depth Malware Audit Service

Panda Managed Office Protection includes Malware Radar, a malware

audit service that provides periodic evaluation of the status of the

network. Malware Radar offers complete audit reports and automates

disinfection tasks.

P2P and automated updates

Workstations will update or upgrade their protection from the nearest

desktop through P2P connections minimizing bandwidth consumption.

If the update package is not found in the LAN, then the workstation

will get it from Panda through the Internet. You can configure updates

frequency, and carry them out on demand or bv groups.

Profile-Based Protection

This feature allows administrators to assign different policies or

protection profiles to different groups according to the organization’s

needs and saving administrator’s time.

Delegated administration management

This enables the administrator to split administration tasks between

other privileged users, assigning the computers to which they can

access.

Flexible installation

Administrators have different options for deploying the protection,

either with or without user intervention. This can be done remotely

through emails with download URLs. To avoid user intervention there

is a Distribution Tool that allows the protection to be deployed

transparently to selected endpoints. There is also an MSI installer for

distributing the protection through login-scripts, Active Directory, Tivoli,

SMS or LanDesk.

Group-based license management

Different maximum amount of licenses and expiration dates can be

configured for each group enabling an optimized license use according

to the organization’s needs for different locations, seasonal effects,

etc.

Detailed, summarized and executive reports.

Configurable, real-time reports with protection status and detection

activity information and graphs. The Executive Report shows 24h

information with pie-charts. In addition, all reports can be exported

to text files, PDF, XML, HTML or Excel formats.
