Troubleshooting
The Troubleshooting section offers possible solutions to basic problems that may
be experienced when attempting to connect to the AP with the Access Point
Management System (APMS).
Via an Ethernet Connection:

Is the AP switched on and functioning?

Is the network cable properly connected between the AP and the Ethernet PC?
If not, connect the cable and reboot the AP

Has the AP’s IP address or subnet mask been changed?  If you have used the
Config/IP or the Config/Load default AP functions, they may have been.  If
they have, you must also reset the IP address and subnet mask of any stations
wishing to connect to that AP so as to put them in the same domain (see
Assigning an IP Address to the AP, page 25)

Has this PC’s IP address or subnet mask been changed?  The AP and the
station must be in the same domain (see Assigning a Network ID to the AP,
page 25)

Does this station have access rights to configure the AP?  If yes, is the
Community setting of the station different from the AP s?  It must be the same
(see Create New AP, page 27)

Check that all the stations in the Access Control table (including this Ethernet
PC) have not been set to Read-only.  If they have, use the AP COMFig tool to
reconfigure the AP
