When emergency switch is pulled down, the PCU will transmit a signal to panel and

The PCU uses two 1.5V “AAA” Alkaline batteries.
The PCU can detect low battery automatically by performing self test every 21 hrs.
Low battery detection operates at a threshold of 2.3V
± 2%. If 3 consecutive signal
transmissions (spaced at least 30 secs apart) occur with battery below 2.3V, a low battery
code will be sent with the 4
